Amvet Junior Baseball League all-star doubleheader SaturdayThe annual Amvet Junior Baseball League’s all-star program is Saturday with a pair of eight-inning contests at Amvet Park.Each team is comprised of 18 players who are eligible to play four innings apiece.In the 6 p.m. opener, the American East faces the National West. At 8 p.m. the top American West and National East youngsters ages 10-12 will be on the diamond.The rosters:AMERICAN EAST — Steve Howard.
