HUNTINGTON (AP) - Thejudges “goofed and West Virginia still has no official heavy-wieght boxing champion.“They’ll have to fight over again,” said Dr. B. W. West, secrets ry-trea surer of the State Athletic Commission, today“Durned If I know what else they can do,” said West.“There just can’t be any draw in a championship fight.”The atheltic commission member referred to the fight Saturday night in Ravenswood between Tun-ney Hunsacker, Fayetteville police chief, and Hoaea Chapman of Huntington.Judge Russ Parsons voted for Chapman, 56-54; Judge T. W. Thacker said Hunsacker won, 5S 55, and Judge Johnny Protan called it 54-54. Under the point system, Hunsacker would have won by a single point, 166 to 165, but that’s not the way it was de cided.“Now that it’s announced a draw,” West said, “It’s official;hut they (the judges)should have got their heads together and decided a winner.”Referring to suggestions that the commission determine the winner, West said, “You can’t overrule the judges.”West spoke after talking it over with Commission Chairman Jack Dawson at Charleston.
