lo«Rr« To Go For Drald Lake Record.At 6 o’clock tomorrow morning Cycler T. Cecil Downes will make hit long deferred effort to lower A. Lisle White's record of 3.06 for the Dmld lake course. The dia tsnce Is about oue mile and a half. Mr. Downes says he is confident that he cau lower the mark, despite the fact that W. rt. LeCompte and Edward Wedekind have lately failed to do so in trials. In hts trial Downes will be paced by Ohs s. Martin, A. Hobbs and Henry Smith on a triplet. This machine will carry him nearly one half of the distance, which is the part containing the fewer corves. A tandem ridden by Lou's Eckstein and Wm. Thornburg aud Biirt and Bennett will pace him. He will finish behind the pace of L. Dillonon a single.
