The Hawks rebound from on 8-2 defecit to win is indeed an honor to the Hawk'jteam spirit. Hawk heoroes being Dennis Bing 3 for 3, two singles and a homer bringing in 5 runs marking a fine showing by the right fielder. Peter Penniman 2 for 3, catcher Paul McMillan 2 for 3, and a double by Mike Santos being other hard-hitting Hawks. All total a barrage of 12 hits were belted out by the Hawks men. The Bed Legs went with a patch work mound team, Jimmy Coxen, Flavey, and Scott Waterhouse all taking turns at the Hawks. Bed Leg spot lights as follows; Mitch Klaus made an amazing catch of a foul ball in left field, catcher Tom Sweeney hit a ball an estimated 230 ft. for a homer, not bad for farms.
