ISWTTC First College In State To Offer 6-Man Grid Game*vSSouthwest Texas State Teachers College has the honor of being the first college in the state to offer instructions in six man football, according to present informationThis program of instruction was , brought about by Coach J. H. jCheaney and Ms assistants, Coaches Walter Germer and Abe Houston, for the special benefit of coaches in small high schools where it is impossible to play the regular eleven «. * man football.Six man football is rapidly gaining popularity due to the fact that H is possible for smaller high schools to participate in the game and it is a 1 also reputed to speed the game up ,1 11 to a great extent.
