But West Germany, which fought back from a two goal deficit to down Yugoslavia Thursday, did it again.Dieter Mueller, the hat trick hero of Thursday’s 4-2 win over Yugoslavia, scored in the 28th minute and then Bernd Holzenbeinforced the overtime period with a soft tap for a goal in the 90th minute.There were no goals in the 30-minute extra session and each team had to take five penalty kicks to decide the winner. Czechoslovakia’s first four marksmen were all successful but then Uli Hoeness, fourth in line for the Germans, drilled a high shot over the bar.Hoeness sank to his knees in tears as Antonin Panenka gave the Czechs a winning penalty lead with a chip over goalkeeper Sepp Maiers hands, extending the his teams’ unbeaten streak to 23 games.
