Seven Paynemen To Have White Sox TryoutsSeven A1 Payne Red Sox players are scheduled to receive Chicago White Sox tryouts Friday and Saturday at Comiskey Park, according* to ‘‘Swede” Erickson, Red Sox manager. !Heading the list will be Tom i Laydon. 6'3 left hand hurler of Blue Island, who starred on the mound for Thornton Junior College as well as the Paynemen. Others are Rich Niesyto and Jim | Kozek. also pitchers; Bob Holum * and Bill Larson, catchers; Bob Bauske, first baseman and A1 Cib-ulski, outfielder.According to Erickson, Allan IVI ^ i Kelly high school shortstop | and Fred Brozyna, a pitcher for Argo high school, will also be in the group for the tryout sessions.
