The veteran performer has appeared on several cards in the Gulfport ring during the past two years.Ferona will be making his debut in the Legion arena. He has been touring upstate mat centers for several weeks and, according to advance reports, is a clever wrestler who is expected to giveKopecky an acid test.The match opens the wrestling activity for the night at 8:30 o’clock and is scheduled for the best two out of three falls with a 45-minute time limit.The feature attraction is a teammatch between four wrestlers. Frankie Hill, the popular Texan, and Cyclone Burns of Detroit, will team together against Dick Sampson, another Texan, and Sailor Jack Adams of New York.Hill and Burns are more of the scientific type and in their opponents they encounter rough and tough customers.The match, a new feature for Gulfport, is scheduled for the best two out of three falls with a 90-minute time limit.Promoter Romanoff announced that a discription of the Schmel-ing-Louis heavyweight championship fight would be broadcast at the arena and the wrestling would be suspended during this time.
