and umawxui.27 HAWKEYES IN BIG MEETCIWith twenty-seven Hawkcye athletes entered in the Midwest meet here this afternoon Iowa*should walk away in the total number of points scored. And on top of the large number of men, some , of the greatest track and field men in the country are represent ed in that list.Iowa State College, Parsons, Cornell and Drake are represented by soma classy men, but they are outnumbered four to one by the Hawks.Four Iowa men will be defending their own records when the meet convenes at 1:30 o'clock to- ^ morrow afternoon. Brookins holds the 220 low hurdle mark and also the 100 yard dash. Jack Boyles claims the pole vault and Rav j Dauber has the shot put mark. Elian Handy will also defend his title in the hamer throw.
