They were very tame and up to Wedensday afternoon three had been shot, one of them being a “silver tip” 8 feet in length with a pelt that is valued at $1200. These are the first sea otter seen on the north beach in five years, though previous to that they were quite numerous. and sea otter hunting was a regular business for a number of men.The steamer Daisy Mitchell arrived in port Tuesday and is loading at the Slade mill for San Francisco.The steamer Nelialein arrived this morning from San Francisco, to load a return cargo at the Donovan mill.The steamer Columbia sailed yesterday from the Wilson mill with a full passenger list, for San Francisco.Woman and Dress.MANAGER DELANTY ADVANCED11.
