Barber and Cannon were over from Paullina and Messrs. Christiany and Munk and Foobig from Sheldon. They did most of the shooting themselv though Jungenr and Stitx took hand just for sociability. Mr. Bishop of Matlock wns also present. Barber is the man who recently won the cup in the shoot at Sioux City. The event was a fifteen bird shoot, Barber and eight others were tied on fifteen birds. In the shootoff Barber won by n straight run of seventeen successful shots.There was an exciting ball game here Wednesday evening. Hosper and Granville played and Hosper won by the score of thirteen to twelve. It took eleven innings to decide it and tho score by innings' was us follows:The republicans of Floyd township held their caucus Tuesday night. Delegates selected are G. Draayom, H. Vander Burg, Hubert aud John Vau Rooyen, R. Van Zyl and Harry Tillema. Thoy were iustructod for Morris. Dan Montgomery was up this way Tuesday and appeared anxious. He said he needed Lynn township and the last seen of him he was after it.Hosper will celebrate on the fourth. All arrangements aro made and the big bills are up.
