Bulldogs Win District 3-A Regional Championship 4-3Tho Burnet Bulldogs won the District 3-A Regional Title Wednesday night at Killeen lot the second straight year. It was a very tight bail game all the way j with the Bulldogs blowing it wide often in the bottom of the seventh.It was a do or die situation for the Bulldogs in the seventh.David Pet rick led off with a tre-memdous triple* into right center. Then Bud Faris drew a walk, then I stole second With runners on second and third and the score 3-1 in favor o| Robinson, Hap Zimmerman glt; t a single to center field This moved Pet tick home, and ! the score was 3-2. Faris advanced to third Terry Petriek then fan-| nod. hut he had gotten a double earlier in the evening.With one gone and runners on second and third, Willie Richardson got on with tho help of an error committed by the short stop, who had played very well all : night.With the bases loaded, Vernon Richardson drew a walk and forced home the tying run.
