Munro Is Voted InTiger Franchise HolderLETHBRIDGE (CP) — The Western Junior Hockey League, or the'active members of it, will operate in junior circles this coming year as a result of a meeting held here Sunday with representatives present from Lethbridge, Moose Jaw. Regina, Medicine Hat and Edmonton.The Lethbridge Native Sons officially handed their franchise back to the league and Scotty Munro, former manager-coach of the Humboldt Indians of the Saskatchewan Junior League, was voted in as franchise holder of the Medicine Hat Tigers,Edmonton and Regina expressed definite willingness to continue the league or a revision of it while Moose Jaw, forced to drop out last year due to a lack of ice because of an arena fire, announced that it would be back in the league again this year.
