Harris Hurls No Hitter In Summer Baseball TiltThe Gutdoorsman ami Eastern Idaho Farmer braved high winds Wednesday afternoon to win theirgames in the Pony League of the Summer Recreation Basebali program at Central Park.In Midget League action. Thomley Construction blasted Jack and Jeans, 21-9, and Snake River Equipment took the measure of Forde Johnson Oil. 17-2. in another loosely played game.The Outdoorsman had to come from behind in the last of the fifth with four big runs to score a close 9-8 win over Cragg Drug. Markowski and Gianihetta formed the battery for the winners while Hayden and Kraupp toiled for the losers.No llittrr Harris of Eastern Idaho Farmer hurled a no-hitter at Fonnes-beck Electric, in racking up an 8-0 victory, with Biddulph handling the catching duties. Cros-well and Hayden formed the losers' battery.Five runs in each of the first three innings and six in the fourth were aJI Thornlev Construction needed to defeat Jack and Jeans, 21-9, with Charles Taw/.er and Laval Newcomb forming the winning battery. Jai k Tensen and Joe Holst formed the losing battery.Two Hitter Snake River Equipment, behind the two-hit hurling of Forde Johnson, had little trouble with Forde Johnson Oil in winning. 17-2.
