Both clubs played great ball, and in a sensa-tional finish, Knox won the game in the last inning. It was a pitcher's battle all the way. Hurst and Webb both pitched in fine form. Webb had terrific speed and only allowed Knox to make three hits up to the last inning.Hurst, the left paw, pitched the game of his life, striking out 15-men and allowing only three safe hits.
