Jones wins feature at 71 SpeedwayBill Jones won the fourth heat and the “A” feature Friday night before another full house at the 71 Speedway. A large number of drivers competed for the guaranteed $1,500 purse.In the feature, Jones took over on the 21st lap of the 25 lap event and held on for the win.Winners are as follows:First heat — Leland Osborne, Ernie Thlessen, Eari Muilen-berg.Second heat — Dwayne Beckham, Dale McDaniel, Buster Fritchey.Third heat — Gary McKeehan, Johnny Bowman, Vernon Zor-dell.Fourth heat — Bill Jones, Ed Potts, Darrell Carpenter.Trophy dash — Roger Chism.“C” feature *— Earl Muilen-berg, Ernie Thiessen, Leland Osborne, Sam Privitt.“B” feature — Dwayne Beckham, Vernon Zordell, Dale McDaniel, Gary McKeehan, Dave Kiingsporn, Don Owens, Don Williams.“A” feature — Bill Jones, Johnny Bowman, Bill Street, Roger Chism, Owen Spurgeon, Darrell Carpenter, Larry Pyle, Bill Collins, Ed Potts, Don Myers and Fred Warden.There was only one accident bad enough to halt the feature.
