All Stars To HaveBig Game Here On “Juneteenth”The fast stepping* Black Indians from San Antonio will help the members of the Settlement , in Kerrville in the 41 Juneteenth celebration, when they come for a game with the Black All Stars, which will be played Saturday, June 19, at four o’clock in the ball park.The All Stars lost another heart breaker last Sunday when the Abilene Black Eagles were here with whetted beaks and sharpened talons, grabbed the 4-0 victory.Young Ira James, fireball pitcher for the Birds, was a shade tough against the Stars, whiffing 17 batters and giving up only two hits in theentire festival. The “Old Man of the Mountain,]' big Bill Haynes, also did a neat job in the pitcher's box for the All Stars, striking out IB men and giving only four hits.
