MEDINA — A number of contests were played on the Medina Ponytail I/eague circuit last night.Crum and Chester bombed Old Phoenix Bank, 23-6, behind the solidhitting of the winning squad. Winning pitcher Diane Philpot cracked out a double and a pair of singles, while Roni Crum had a perfect day at the plate by stroking out a homerun, triple, double, single and drawing a waft. Debbie Fodor and Marilyn Ware both contributed a triple nd a double, while Amy Fuller also doubled for Crum and Chester.Paula Griesinger led the Old Phoenix stick attack by rapping out two doubles and a one-bagger. Gail McEwan doubledand singled, while Joy Lehman walloped a double for the bankers. Cheryl Kassel was the losing pitcher.Loretta Popovic was credited with five strikeouts and the win in Carter’sHome Improvements victory over Medina Supply, 10 - 3. Marion Scott suffered the loss.Debbie Deyling banged out a four-bagger and Sharon Gallagher tripled to aid the winning cause. For the losers, Andy Cutiip paced the bat attack with a double.In a game played Monday night, the Canaries snuch past the Blue jays, 9-8. Judy Raker was credited with the win, while Janet FUmore suffered the defeat
