Wallv EverestrSets RecordWally Everest Jr. set a new course record for the Pontoosuc Sailing Gub at its weekly race yesterday afternoon on Pontoosuc Lake.Everest, making good use of a high wind, covered the approximately 2-mile course in 19 minutes, 15 seconds. The old record was 22 minutes, 30 seconds.Everest won both races. Bob Koch was second in the first event, while Forbes Cullen finished third. Allan Schoon-maker was the runner-up in the second race, and Paul Green was third.
