Beaufort officiating.Rigg-Robertson-The announcement of the marriage of Miss Catherine Robertson of Portland to Luther Rigg of Centralia comes aB a pleasant surprise to their friends in this county. The impressive ring ceremony was read in the presence of relatives only in Centralia Sunday, June 10, by Rev. Ray E. Dew of that city. The bride was charmingly gowned in white satin finish canton crepB with a dainty lace trimmed hat to match. She wore a beautiful corsage of Cecil Brunner roses. The bride has been a successful teacher of home economics since her graduation from the Oregon agricultural college. She spent two years at Dryad, where she is remembered by many sincere friends. The past term she taught in the high school at Stevenson, Wash. The groom is well known in Centralia and has been employed at the Dodge garage in that city for some time. Following the ceremony the happy couple left by auto for' a week’s outing at Lake Quiniault, They have many friends who extend to them hearty congratulations and wish them every happiness.the average motorcyclist can come to Chehalis just once a year and see Jerry and have the unrestricted privilege of riding up and down the streets with his cutoff open until he' stirs up the dead ones he goes home happy. We’re all glad to see him come and—some people say^but never mind what they say.Saturday night Chehalis people will tender the visitors-a dance which they hope will be enjoyed by the hundreds of riders from all over western Washington as far north as Bellingham and south to and beyond Portland in Oregon. Many ladies will be with the riders, some coming on motorcycles and some in side cars.There will be a full day of sport the second day, commencing at 9:30 in the morning, at the fair grounds, Many motorcycle and stunt races will be run.
