Colored Mon (lot Bscltrd.A man who witnessed the fight between Jqb Oans and Frank Erne at Ft. Erie tells of a funny incident that canie off during the progress of tne mill. In one part of the hall a bunch of colored men from Buffalo wereperched up on the top tier of the circus seats rooting for the Baltimore darky. Every time Oans would strike a blow the whole crowd would let out a howl. One fellow w'as so excitedthat he could not restrain himself, and he followed up Gan’s maneuvers by making simi.ar movements with his own body. When Gans ducked, down would go the fellow’s head and a right or left hand blow by Oans would bring the same movement from the admirer of Herford’s champion on the* circus seats. Finally Oans made aiWild swing at Erne and the saddle-colored rooter on the seats attempted the same move. He unconsciously let go his right and and hit anofner colored man alongside of him, causing the whole section of seats to fall. The darktown contingent went down in a heap ahd ailghted on their heads, and of course no damage was done, but before the darkles could get back to their seats Oans had knocked out Erne and the spectators were fighting their way to the exits.
