Laurel upsets FalconsGoto highlight SuburbanTim Crawford hurled a one-hitter as the Laurel Suburban Junior Baseball team upset the Wilmington Falcons 2-0 last night to highlight the Suburban league In other action, the Shenango Americans dumped Del s Garage (Union) 8-4. the Wilmington Eagle s outlasted the Veltre White Sox 18-12 and the Wolfe’s Iron Men edged the Shenango Nationals 3-2 Crawford struck out 11 and walked six in his victory He also aided his own cause by driving in a run Ron Dean paced the attack with a double Steve Bergey got the only single off of Crawford Mark Kossack took the loss Winning pitcher Joe Dado blasted a first inning three-run homer to pace the Shenango Americans past Del s Garage Paul Strobel doubled while Mark Duda tripled Dado.
