MEN’S CLUB PLAN SWIMMING MEETROWAYTONThe Men’s dub la making* plans for a swimming meet to be conducted oh Labor day Ht Bay ley beach, under the direction of Ssfri-11 el Robinson. The program, whichla open to all yoUng people in the community. The club plans to make the program an annual affair.Distance, sprint and other types of swimming races are being* ar-iBilged on a program that wllj include exhibition diving and other water activities. Entry blanks may hp obtained from Arthur Ladrigan, lifeguard at the beach, after June 15.Serving with Mr. Robinson on the committee are Ruth BiJInrd, Arthur Brtlaid and Mr. Ladrlgan, Paper Seeks SubscribersPaid subscriptions will be sought Tor the monthly publication, The Sextant,*4 sponsored bv the United; church, it was announced today by the Public Relatione committee of the church. -The magazine, which (tiaa been published since the first of the year, has been distributed without charge to residents of the community. The annual subscription is not expected to cover the coit of the publication, but’ will relieve the church of the entire expense.The rates have not been decided, but will be m effect wttfrthe September issue, the committee an* mounccd.
