I HOUSE OF DAVID WINS AT MT. VERNON, 12-0A number of Centralians went to Mt. Vernon last evening to see the night baseball game between the I Houee of David and the Mt. Vernon Carbnllders along with the other attractions of the pepper game and the donkey game. The . House of David won the regular game* 12 to 0.Crover Cleveland Alexander, for mei major leaguer, pitched the first inning for the bearded boys, while Earl Smith also a former major leaguer, caught the entirei Morris Nitmgnn, Central City [boy played a bang-up game at short for the Mt. Vernon club, and in ad-jdition got two of the three hits made h\ the losing club. Niemann botm ed a single off the pitcher in the early part of the game and hater c ime back with a liner to | the outfield.
