Cole capturessixth straightMike Cole chalked up his sixth consecutive win in the cadet feature at the Morgantown Speedway Saturday night Herb Scott of Wexford, Pa was the winner of the late model feature, his first of the season A large crowd was on hand to view approximately 50 cars raceWith a field of 22 in the late model feature, Bood Lodge grabbed an early lead Scott caught up with Lodge on lap 17 and passed him to grab the checkered flag Mike McGuire placed second and Russ Redshaw third.A field of 20 started the cadet race, with Gene Towson and Dennis Chamberlain early leaders Dave Monaghan took over the lead on lap five and stretched it to a comfortable margin until a slower car lost control and forced Monaghan into the back of the pack, allowing Towson to regain the lead On lap 18. Cole made his move and took over the lead and held on for his sixth win in a row Towson came in second and Chamberlain third Scott also won his heat along with George Clendenning. who was the dash winner, and Gil Roth Cole and Monaghan were cadet heat winners as was Bernard Kenne Jim Bvers won the consolation raceAt 8 p m Sunday.
