G Hardy of Edmonton, past president, listened to the Q.A.H.A suggestion that would place playoffs between the three branches in the hands of the new organization, then surprised the Q.A.H.A. executive by saying they favored the s-cheme.Under the proposed system, playoffs leading to the Allan and Memorial cups between teams of the three eastern groups would be controlled by the new eastern Canadian organization, who would take care of the finances of the playoffs until eastern winners were declared, with the C.A.H.A. taking charge from that point on. Under the present set-up, the C.A.H.A. controls allInter-branch playoffsPresident Dudley said he would put the case of the eastern bodies before the C.A.H.A. and ask that the constitution be changed to allow for formation of the new body.Mr. Dudley said that If the Q.A.
