We came during the seoond half of the first inning and had to take what seats were left in the grand stand, and they happened to be on the top row in the stand where we had just as good a view to the north as the south and included the Northern Pacific Railway tracks.There were, I should Judge, between 80 and 100 spectators on the tracks, standing in the drimling rain, seemingly enjoying what little they could see of the game. About the 2nd or 3rd inning, they were literally driven from the tracks. They were not allowed to LOOK at the ball game because they couldnt afford the admission charge. I personally felt humiliated.
