S, SoccerCrown Wonby San PedroThe San Pedro Cnnvasbaks won the U.S. Open Cup soccer championship Sunday, beating Fall River, Mass., 4-3.The Canvasbaks held a 3-0 lead at halftime in the rough' and-tumble match, blit Fall River came back with Two quick goals in the second 45 minutes, then tied it up with only 2 minutes remaining. !Outside right A1 Herman then scored on a short shot seconds later off the defense of Fall River to put the Canvasbaks s^head for good. ’ iThe other canvasbak scorers were Fred Cameron with two goals, and Alex O’Neill.
