F ISHI X G.Kinross.—The Dumb* Angling Club held a competition on Loclilevcn on Saturday last* A warm and genial rain fell during the day, but there being little or no wind, it was not so favourable for successful fishing. Six boats wore engaged, two competitors being in each boat, making twelve competitor in all* The following list was tlio result of the day’s fishing:—Mr Hume, I pike, weighing Gib, 10 perch, G trout, weight, 41b 5oz.; Mr Alexander, 4 trout, weighing 21b; Mr Worral, perch and pike, 141b Goz., 20 trout, weighing 131b 4oz.; Mr J. Dove, 15 trout, Sib 14oz.; Mr Taylor, pike and perch, 121b Joz., 11 trout, weighing ltilb 14oz.; Mr Stevens, pike and perch, 01b Soz., 7 trout, weighing 51b lOjoz.; Mr Dove, 14 trout, weighing Olh; Mr Ireland, 12 trout, weighing 01b 12oz.; Mr Sirachan, perch, lib 14oz., 13 trout, 01b lloz.; Mr Hart, pike, 21b Goz., 13 trout, 111b; Mr Chalmers, pike, 21b loz., 9 trout, weighing sib 15oz.; Mr Wells, pike, lib 4£oz., 0-trout, weighing 71b Soz. So far as the season has gone, liOelileven has afforded so much excellent sport to the lovers of the 44 gentle art,” as to make it at times an impossible thing to procure boats.
