Gene RuddWins GolfTourneyGene Rudd, Sikeston, cap. tured first place honors in the Annual Jaycee Duffers Golf Tournament Sunday.Gene received a trophy for his fine play and was presented with the First National Bank Traveling trophy.If a person wins the trophy for three years he will be awarded the trophy to keep.Gene Kessler, Poplar Bluff, captured first place honors in the A division while Chuck Lemons, Cape Girardeau, placed first in the B division.A total of 32 golfers were entered in the afternoon match with four golfers awarded first place honors.mg Nowell Construction after holding a 6-0 lead going into the top of the third inning had to fight off a stubborn Home Materials nine the rest of the game for the win.Home Materials collected three runs in the third inning, one in the fourth and three in the sixth and had another time at bats but the game was called because of the time rule.Nowell Construction collected nine runs on nine hits whileM.
