A, L. Hunt left last week tc make an extended visit to friends in St. Louis and the eastern part of this state.The exercises of Decoratioc Day passed off very pleasantly. Rev. J. W. Cath-cart made a short address in the absence of Rev. Mr, Hunt. There was a very long procession, and nothing happened to mar the day,Next Friday will close the school year, Exercises will be held in the High School ! room by pupils from high school and grammar departments. In the afternoon the primary and intermediate departments will have exercises in room ,2' , TJ\e. commencement exerciseswill be held in the evening at the Presbyterian Church, The class have sent out elegant programs.
