Gerspacher and Carter’s Home Improvement bested their foes last night. The former halted Stop Go, 30-20, while the latter defeatedCrum Chester, 33-11.Denise Arnold and Beth Raker pitched Carter’s to the win. Miss Raker, batting, had five hits including a homerun. She also was credited with an unassisted double play from her second base position. Sue Ellsworth was the losing hurler.Loretta Popovic’s two grand slam home runs, along with strong hitting from Kathy McClaning and Bonnie Bates, led Carter’s to victory. Marcia Smith was the winning pitcher. Lyn Philpott was the losinghurler. Ronnie Crum led thelosers in hitting and A. Fuller recorded a fine fielding day.
