some presents.BOSTON BLOOMERS.A Bum Aggregation of Ball Players —Giants Beat Them Easy—14 to 4.The “Boston Bloomers,” a ball team supposed to consist of women ball players that have been playing exhibition games throughout Southern Indiana the past few weeks, arrived here yesterday on schedule time for a game with the Orleans Giants. They did not attract much attention on the streets, and the base ball fans did not know what to do about going to the park. However, as the time for the game drew near the faithful ones were seen wending their way to the Park. Manager Roberts, who feared that the girls had an ace hid about their uniform presented a strong line-up with Denny, of West Baden, and Hammond, of Paoli, as a battery. The Bloomers sent Mabel into pitch and what the Giants done to her (?) in the first inning would have taken the courage away from Christy Matthew-son. Graves slammed the first ball
