Cal., June 5.—Negotiations for a tight between Joe (Ians.the light weight champion, and JimmyHritt were declared off Thursday when Hritt proposed terms that flans said hecould not agree to.Hritt at tirst declared that he would meet flans at 133 pounds, weigh in at :t o'clock 011 the day of the contest.Thursday, however. Hritt announcedthat he would not agree to tight flans unless the champion made 133 pounds a* the ring side, flans, who is taking : weight repidly, replied that he could not meet Hritt unless he agreed to tlans weighing in at 133 pounds at 3 o'clock, or at 135 itounds ring side. Hritt rejected these terms, and everything was called off.
