With Clarence in condition he was regarded as Foltz’s equal, if not; superior, and he was picked to win the engagement. He wen t to St. Louis claiming to be ready far a good fight. He left surprising openings for Feltz, and the latter landed the blows that won the fight in a hurry. It hardly ceems probable that Forbes has gone back as much as that.
