CHS Class Of ’23GLOUSTER Mr and Mrs Ralph Hines, Spring Street, Glouster entertained Mr Hines’ graduating Glouster High school class of 1923, and friends at a buffet and ojen house following the alumni banquet held at the Trimble Elementary School Throughout the evening there were appioximately 60 persons stopping by to enjoy a few memories There were 23 of the golden anniversary class of the original 52 members reunited The Class members were Clyde Peugh and wife ot Bradenton, Fla ; Mrs Gertrude Mount Barnes of Kissimmee, Fla Ralph A* lie as and wife ot Fort Myers » la Dr Guy Taylor and wife ot canton, Dean Kittle and wife, Cairo. Ohio, Kent Thompson and wife Cuyahoga Falls: Mrs Garnett Nagle Thompson, Canton. Mrs. Honor Palmer Fniow and hus band. Chillicothe. Mrs Dorothy ( an Faires and husband, Gail, of Point Pleasant W Va ; Mrs Fontelle Harper Young, Lexington Miss Mildred Hedley, Cincinnati; Mrs Eva Birtcher Biddison and husband. Mis. Olive McKee Miller and husband. Mi Dwight Clark. \li Garnet Keith. Donald Post and wife all ot Columbus. Sarah Stitt Blower. Athens. ViolaHodgson Kuhne, Freda Roberts Exenkamper, Mary Mitchell, Kempton and husband, all of Jacksonville; Ralph Phillips Trimble; Phyllis Craft Dillon, Diuiella Vaughn Noon, and Ralph Hines, all of Glouster.Mrs. Helen Crawford Burnell; and her husband Dr Lowell, also attended as a special guest Mrs. Burnell was a teacher of this class.Other guests of the affair but not members of the class were Mrs Sara McDivitt Williams, Miss Rachael and Jane Murray, former teachers in Glouster SchiMils now living in Massillon. Miss Merel Danford, Trimble, Miss Edith Moody, Canton, and Mr and Mrs. Robert Byers and children of JacksonA buffet lunch was served throughout the evening as a number ot other guests not mentioned stopped in to greet the class members. Time was spent in recalling many happenings in the area and other members of the class One point of interest to the class was their outstanding athlete Dr Guv Tavlor. As the memories were related the class ot 1923 had many victories attributed to Dr Taylor in track and footballMr and Mrs Hines thanked their neighbors and friends for all consideration and help with
