Several DuBoisJnDrivers Placed ?At FrostburgFROSTBURG — Several DuSzLGBois area ears and drivers were ^ on hand for the 1969 stock carracing season opener at P i nc Valley Speedway near here Sunday afternoon. sPlacing in various events were Ollie Snyder of DuBois, Professor Sallaek of Sykesvillc,' gndi*Dean and Ron Bowser of Punx-sutawnev. 11Snyder took thirds in late model heat, semi, and feature. Sallaek won the stock semi an dll took second in the heat andfeature. IWinning the stock heat *ndsemi was Dean Bowser. RonBowser got behind the wheel of Car 89 for the feature and came home a winner.lt;Sam Perseher of Grove City won the late model feature withRon Eperthener of Grove Citytaking the heat and semi. Also in late model events here were Johnny Connor of DuBois i n Car 37. Red Wells of DuBois Car 37. Red Wells of DuBois in Car 376. and Boh Grove of Allegany.
