Duffys Play David Nine In Twin BillMasters of “Pepper” Game to Make Appearance at Shewbridge Field Sunday. _Simms, Zentura To Be on MoundFlorals Will Meet Bearded Aggregation on Open Date in Wisconsin -Illinois ScheduleWith an open date on their Wiscon-sin-Illinois league schedule available next Sunday, the Duffy Floralswill engage the House of David team of Bentori Harbor, Mich., in a double-header at Shewbridge field.Always a crowd pleaser and a colorful baseball attraction, the bearded aggregation will travel intact to Southtown, “pepper game” and all. This latter feature, staged before and between the games, has become famous since its creation several years ago.Sharing the mound assignment in the twin-blil will be Zentura and Simms for the Duffys. They will probably face Toles and Walker.For the first time since the season began, the same , third-baseman played two games in the double-header with Madison last Sunday. Jerry Standeart, former Brooklyn Dodger, played the “hot comer and turned in a creditable performance. It is no secret that Owner John Duffy Is pleased with Jerry's showing,Another inflelder of whom Duffy expects much this year is Red'' Holt, f husky flrst-sacker, whose hitting in the clean-up position in the batting order has greatly bolstered the Florals’ chances.
