Energy lost 'the flip again leaving them as visitors. Batting first J. Simpson homered and Energy scored two more runs before being put out. Taking the field they allowed Kaisers only two runs, one being a homer by T. Turner, outs being made by J. Simpson, G. Firker and K. Boatright. In the second inning Energy scored 6 runs from 11 batters.In 'the' bottom of the second Kaiser scored no runs on 4 hits with outs being made by B. Me An inch, K. Boatright and C Kaeser. Energy, sending 11 more boys to the plate, scored 8 more runs in the 'last of the inning 'being a homer by G. Ficker. Then in the third it looked bad again for Kaisers when the first two runners were thrown out at second by throws to B. McAninch from C. Kaeaer. But they came back, and scored 6 runs before a third out was made by T. Issler to J. Simpson at 1st.In 'the fourth, Energy scor-EnergyOut Lasts Stout’sEnergy Design met Stouts for their second game of the playoffs. Energy batting Erst, scored 7 runs from. II batters with a home run by J. Simpson. Taking the field Energy held Stouts to only 3 runs with, outs being made by G. Ficker, and C. Kaeser. Energy batting 11 boys again scored 8 runs with homers by M. Pies and C. Kaeser. Stout then sent 10 boys to bat scoring 6 runs, outs being made by 'T. Issler to' J. Simpson, C. Kaeser and G. Ficker.'The final three innings found Eergy only scoring 5 runs, but making some key plays in the field to hold the lead. In the third there were two throws made to J. Simpson at first by T. Issler and G. Ficker and another out at home made by K. Boatright. Stouts threatened to take the lead in the 4th scoring 6 runs. Key outs in this inning were made again by C. Kaeser and G. Ficker. Energy had a tough job coming in the bottom of the fifth. The score was 20-17. All Stout's needed was 4 runs to win. Energy got the first two men out on throws to first by C. Kaeser. Then the next two batters got base hits, but J. Simpson ended, it all with an unassisted play at first.Batting 1000 for Energy were K. Boatright, G. Ficker including 2 doubles, C. Kaeser, K. Smith, P. Kraus, B. McArthur and A. Elbing.It was a good game for both teams.Bourquein Steals LakesBourquein Water and, Lake's Jewelry squared off in one of the two semi-final playoff games in the D-Ball loop, and the game proved to be one of the most exciting ever between the two young teams.Bourquein and Lakes proved to be evenly matched as the statistics show.
