Kid Farmer Beats Bezenah.Indianapolis, July 25.—Kid” Farmer of Peoria had the better of Andy Bezenah of Cincinnati in a Ken-round | bout before the Indianapolis Athletic club. It was clearly the Illinois lad's battle, who won seven out of the ten rounds and fought to a draw in three.! Bezenah was knocked half through the ropes in the fifth round, but recuperated surprisingly. In the tenth round Farmer caught the Cincinnatian in his own corner with a short right and spilled him cleanly for the s.econd time in the contest, and had he followed up his advantages would have won on a knockout. Bezenah was in great “condition, but was outgeneraled and outslugged despite his * terrifici swings, many of which missed the shifty Peorian. Kid Herman has decided not to go to Cincinnati to train for his bout at Indianapolis with Benny Yanger. He has decided to locate at Broad Ripple, about eight miles from the Hoosier capital. Adam Ryan, who is at the resort now, recommends the place highly.
