Mark Stephany fired a two-hmer and was backed up by four* for-four performances b y Gary Remington and A1 Hermanny. Cliff S a s a d a added three hits for the Brewers, while Dave Brose got the only hits for the losers.The Cardinals trimmed the Astros, 6-1, behind the pitching of Brian Bartelt and Scott 'Kleinschmidt. Bartelt and Kleinschmidt also led the hitting, each with three hits. A good defensive game was mmed in by Jim Wendt, Pat McBride and Dan Rieder.The While Sox won two games over the Braves, 5-4 in a makeup game, and 6-4 m the regularly scheduled contest.
