“Kid” Farm«r Beats Beienah.Indianapolis, July 25.:—“Kid1’ Farmer of Peoria had the better of Andy Bezenah of Cincinnati in a ten-round bout before the Indianapolis Athletic club. . It was clearly the Illinois lad's battle, who won seven out of the ten rounds and fought to a draw in three. Bezenab. was knocked half through* the ropes In the fifth round, but recuperated surprisingly. In the tenth round Farmer caught the Cincinnatian ! in his own corner with a short right and spilled him cleanly for the second time in the contest, and had he followed up his advantages would have won on a knockout. Be2enah was In great condition; but was outgeneraled and outslugged despite his terrific swings, many of which missed the shifty Peorian. “Kid’* Herman has decided not to go to Cincinnati to train for bis bout at Indianapolis with Benny Yanger, He has decided to do-j cate at Broad Ripple, about eight | miles from the Hoosier capital. Adam Ryan,, who is at the resort now, recommends the place highly.
