TO PLAY GAMESHouse of David Nine Piays At Rigby and Here Wednesday.Baseball fans of the Idaho Falls section will have # a chance Wednesday evening to see the House of David colored players In action. The colored Van Dykes are scheduled to play combination team of Idaho Falls Merchants’ players and Shelley men, members of class A in the Farmers Community league, at Highland park here Wednesday evening starting at 6 o'clock.Ernie Anderson of Idaho Falls has charge of the local team which battles the traveling team. According to advertising on the visitors, the club is the “original” House of David team and has no connection with any other bearded baseball team. The teum is said to be made up of R number of reputable mohar league colored stars and to be one of the strong- ] est clubs on the road today.The bearded visitors offer both | comedy and topnotch ball playing on thoir programs, it was declared. A fast pepper ball team and a shadow ball comedy are features of the traveling team.Flay at Kighy.(Special to The Post-Register.)RIGBY, July 24.--One of the strongest baseball club8 of this section will be assembled here to play the traveling House of David ball team in an exhibition game at the park starting at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Players from teams at Rexburg, Sugar City, Shelley and Idaho Falls are expected to be used to build up the Rigby Lions to the maximum strength for the game.The House of David nine, made up of colored players who wear Van Dyke beards, is declared by advertising to be the “original colored House of David team. Comedy No. 1 baseball are mixed up during the games to delight the fans.
