Muskies Play Carroll Club in State MeetTeams Engage at 8:15 Tonight at Des Moines; Muscatine Club in New Uniforms.The Muscatine Muskies and Carroll meet at the Des Moines leagus I baseball park at Des Moines at 8:15 tonight in the second round of the state semi-pro baseball tournament. Both teams drew byes in the first round.Carroll is doped with having a fine team and the Muskies too have a fine record so the engagement is expected to be a tough one for both clubs. The Muskies have won 13 of 15 games played this season, dropping one to the House of David club and another to the Colored Collegians, both by one run margins.The Muskies were scheduled to play tlie Rex Independents of Davenport at the Credit Island diamond Sunday but were rained out.The squad left at 1 p. m. today for Des Moines and will be equipped with new uniforms for the game. Business men of Muscatine contributed 12 new outfits for the : Muskies.
