The Cubs collected 16 hita. Steve Justice and John DeWolf led the losers with two triples each and Brad Barlow hit a homer.Mark Wood pitched a two hitter for the Mets. Kirk Tyler hit a double for one of the Mets’ three hits. Mark Dolch had both of the Red Sox hita.The league all star game will be played Friday at 8:30 a.m. All player* are urged to attend as awards will be present ed.
