In their victory over tfle Roberts Hardware nine of tftjica yesterday, the Texacos beat ofie of the best semi-pro clubs in •coptral New York, and by the de-.cisive score of 14 to 6. Their triumph came, not because the visi-tors.were a week club but because tlie Norwich offense was as rugged as ever. The team is worthy of much better support. Those fans who want their baseball had better take it the next month for after August the curtain will be lowered and those Norwich fans who are continually crying for a good bail club will have to go elsewhere for their favorite sport. ‘Next season they probably won’t get any of the sport locally.
