Sherry Boes and Denise Hodnett from the Rock both batted 1000 Denise also brought in 7 RBI’s Triples for the Rock were by Denise Hodnett with 2 and Suzan Bowen. Doubles for the Rock were by Lori Dimond, Jo Childress with 2, Bobbie Lichner, Sherry Boes. and Denise Hodnett Trudy Evenhart had the only triple for Tub’s Construction. Winning pitcher was Lori Dimond with 4 strikeouts and losing pitcher wasCarol Tagliani.On July 8 the score was tied 12-12 in the bottom of the 7th inning So Sitka Redi-Mix and Kiksadi went into the first overtime game of the season Sitka Redi Mix held Kiksadi to 4 runs and brought in 12 for themselves, winning the game 24-16 Kathy Miller from Kiksadi had the only triple of the game Doubles for Sitka Redi Mix were by Donna Standerwick. Mary Standerwick, Dee White, Anna Terpsma, Eileen Lootens. Kathy Miller and Carlene Daniels from Kiksadi both batted 1000 and had the only double of the game. Winning ptcher was Carlene Daniels with 3 strikeouts and losing pitcherwas Toni Lee.Tn July 15 Sitka Redi Mix won by forfeit over Tub's Construction.In the first game on July 18 the Rock defeated Kiksadi 19-5. Debbie Riggs from the Rock had the only triple of the game. Doubles for the Rock were by Lori Dimond. Jo Childress, Bobbie Lichner with 2, Joanne Reid, Sherry Boes, Denise Hodnett, Marylou Colliver, Debbie Riggs and Suzan Bowen. Winning pitcher was Lori Dimond with 1 strikeout and losing pitcher was CarleneDaniels.In the second game on July 18 Sitka Redi-Mix defeated Dip-n-Sip 24-12, Mary Standerwick from Sitka Redi Mix had the only triple of the game.
