PLAYS HERE NEXT WEEK—Francisco Herrera of Cuba will be slaying first base for the Kansas City Monarchs next Thursday sight when they visit the Kenosha Chiefs in the Kenosha Base-iall Association’s second annual booster night game. Herrera, I feet 2 inches tall, is the Negro champions’ leading home run litter. He hit safely in 22 consecutive games this spring and elted homers in nine of them. Two years ago he hit four tomers in one game.
