Handley Names Area People To State BoardsINDIANAPOLIS (INS) —.Lakecountians Were among the 01 menand women appointed and re-ap-pointed to 40 different state boards, councils and commissions announced by Governor Harold W-Handley.Included in the list are the appointments to the Norman M. Beatty Hospital board. They are Judge W. Douglas Elwood of Fowler, reappointed; Mrs. S. D. Handley of LaPorte replacing William Koerting of Elkhart ,and Dr. R, B. Jones of LaPorte replacing Dr, E. S. Jones of Hammond.Curtis Gallenbeek of East Chicago was named to replace Dean Mitchell of Hammond on the Commission of Aging and Aged; Stanley D. Goidbert of LaPorte succeeds Ambrose H. Rascher of Cedar Lake'on the Indiana Athletic Commission, and Otto Fifield of Crown Point was reappointed to the I*gansport hospital within, the Division of Mental Health.
