They added one in the second when Mike Geesev npped Morrison starter Mark Milier’s pitch over the left field fence leading off the second. Mike McDonald's homer with Kent Carl on board in the third doubled the Sterling lead to 4to o and drove Miller off diemound.and walking only one. Morrison's only threat through the first f iveinnings was snuffed out hy McDonald's double play in the third, until Morrison bunched four singles and an error in the sixth for three runs.
